Vikko does a great job of getting highball glasses correctly sized both for volume and narrowness, while adding some elegant design. I like the squarish bottom with the rounded edges that rise up to a rounder cylinder—a unique feel and look. Very sturdy glass with a decently secure base, good center of gravity, especially when full.Ordinarily, 11.5 oz is pushing it for a highball unless you’re adding a lot of ice, which means a dilution tradeoff. But here, we’re just narrow enough to allow 1" ice cubes to stack and let the volume of the beverage rise closer to the surface for a better presentation.There’s nothing fancy about the packaging here at all—so not really a gift type of thing unless someone is a glassware collector and doesn’t care much about the packaging. Still, the packing is quite utilitarian, and I will store these in their original simple cardboard box that has slots and strong fold-out dividers, with cushion foam. Also can’t beat 6 at this price point.I’ve attached a shot of a recent sip at my bar that used one of this set. For unique look, manageable highball volume, and sturdiness, these are easily a 5 for me.
