Pb on sides is tape, Do NOT remove!! Radiated at 60 kV, 90 mA As you can see I pulled off a piece to verify since the description did not specify. As shown, the attenuation of radiation is absorbed in the Pb material turning it white. The Pb tape on the side removed, radiation went directly through and is therefore, dark in color. I think these will do just fine for me I have a small face and it's been hard to find anything with the cord they will stay on me, and the hard case that it comes with will protect them.
